“#Compass Fest 2nd Anniversary,” a 2nd Anniversary Event
for the Smartphone Game “#Compass: Combat Providence Analysis System” to be Held
—Kirara Kiryuin, the Mysterious VTuber, Announced at “#Compass Live Arena”—

At “#Compass Live Arena,” held at Ichikawa City Cultural Hall Large Hall, Chiba on August 25 (Sat), an official live event for the real-time online fighting game “#Compass: Combat Providence Analysis System” (below, “#Compass”), a joint game project between DWANGO Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Takashi Araki; below, “DWANGO”) and NHN PlayArt Corp. (Head Office: Minato, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Masaki Kato; below, “NHN PlayArt”), the two companies announced that “#Compass Fest 2nd Anniversary,” would be held on December 23 (Sun).
Also announced was “Kirara Kiryuin”, a new character who will post video commentaries of “#Compass” and other games and perform as a virtual YouTuber (“VTuber”) in the future.

“#Compass Fest 2nd Anniversary” to Triple the Size of Last Year’s Event

“#Compass Fest”, held in December 2017 to celebrate the first anniversary of “#Compass”, ended as a great success, featuring a “#Compass Live Stage” performance by Hachioji P, a “Let’s Play Battle,” and a photo session with official cosplayers. This year’s “#Compass Fest” will see a further upgrade, with a venue triple the size of last year’s event.

A Great Success! “#Compass Live Arena” Finally Reaches its Closing Day

“#Compass Live Arena,” a live event that realistically recreates the world of the “#Compass" game, will be held at three locations across Japan, starting with the Orix Theater in Osaka on August 4 (Sat), followed by performances in Chiba and Aichi, culminating with the Aichi performance on September 8 (Sat) at the Toyota City Cultural Hall Large Hall. In addition to the “#Compass Live Arena", a live event stage where the heroes take center stage, and the “Talk Corner,” where visitors can talk with the heroes in real life using real motion capture technology, each venue will have an “Enjoy Plaza,” a space where visitors can enjoy themselves for free, including a game battle corner where they can play games against official “#Compass" cosplayers, a portrait corner where they can have their portraits drawn by Poaro, the official artist for the hero Meg Meg, and photo spots that recreate the world of the game.
