A refresh of the company’s brand logo and corporate website
 
NHN PlayArt Corp. (Head Office: Minato, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Ujin Chung; below, “NHN PlayArt”) is pleased to announce a refresh of its brand logo and corporate website to coincide with the rollout of its new corporate identity: “a passion for games that are fun to play right away.”

NHN PlayArt continues to grow through the development and operation of popular smartphone games, including “LINE: Disney Tsum Tsum,” with more than 95 million downloads worldwide, “Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble,” with more than 25 million downloads, and “#Compass: Combat Providence Analysis System,” with more than 17 million downloads.
 
For the redesign, we first asked ourselves, “What is important to us? What do we value? What is the essence of PlayArt?” We have been in a constant dialogue about these questions, and what we arrived at in pursuit of what is uniquely PlayArt is our core strength: “a passion for games that are fun to play right away.“ Taking this idea as our corporate identity, our new brand logo and new corporate website reflect the essence of PlayArt.

—The ideas embodied in the logo—

“Make it more fun! — PlayArt is about fun and the constant challenge to make games more entertaining.”
The structure of the CI was changed from one emphasizing “NHN” to one emphasizing “PlayArt”. In addition, the new brand logo has a style that strives for “fun” and can be presented in a number of variations.
 
The existing logo will be changed to the new logo gradually from the start of operations today, Thursday, October 20, 2022.
 
■About the new corporate website
 
The design and content of the new corporate website reflect PlayArt’s character down to the last detail. In terms of new content, we have added more information on areas such as our passions, our game production style, and the type of candidates we are looking for.
