Our Ideal Candidate
People who value dialogue
Dialogue is only possible when it combines the two aspects of communicating and listening. We need people who have both the ability to communicate, to express their ideas and motivate others, and the ability to listen, to understand and absorb others’ ideas.
This is because PlayArt’s
games
are born out of a
huge amount of
dialogue.
People who never forget their commitment to fun
We are always thinking about what “fun” means. Game production is about delivering fun to other people who are not right in front of us. If we compromise, even a little, there is no way that they will find the games fun. Not only that, but even if you make and release a product without compromise, it may still fail. Nevertheless, we welcome those who never forget their commitment to fun.
That’s because it is fun that
PlayArt's games pursue at
every
level.
Specialized skills
Game production requires a variety of skills. These might include skills in handling various software (3D/2D design, programming), proposal writing skills, or the business skills (direction, project management) necessary to conduct production work. We are looking for applicants who possess any of these skills. (For more details, please see the requirements for each position.)
Game production combines
expertise and collaboration.
That’s
because games are
things that
people with skills
come together to
produce.
