Working Hours & Vacations
Elective Working Hours System
Under this system, employees can choose the time they start work within the range set by the company (in increments of 30 minutes before or after 10:00 a.m.) to suit their own lifestyles, with the prescribed working hours maintained at 7.5 hours.

Annual Paid Vacation System
In the first year, paid leave is granted from the date of joining, and in the second and subsequent years, three days more than the legally stipulated amount of paid leave are granted, with January 1 of each year as the base date.
One-hour Unit Annual Paid
Vacation System
This system allows employees to take their annual paid vacation in one-hour increments.
*Limited to 32 hours per year
Annual Paid Vacation Accumulation System
This system allows employees to accumulate up to a certain number of days of leftover annual paid vacation days that have expired over the last two years.
This can be used for childbirth, childcare, nursing, nursing care, personal injury or illness (including hospital visits), disasters, celebrations, and condolences only.
Childcare
Maternity Leave
Employees are eligible for maternity leave 6 weeks before and 8 weeks after childbirth (14 weeks after childbirth for multiple pregnancies).
Childcare Leave
Employees who live with and care for a child under one year of age may, as a general rule, take childcare leave until the child reaches one year of age.
*On request under certain circumstances, this can be extended until the child reaches 1 year and 6 months of age, and then again to 2 years of age.
Reduced Working Hours for Childcare
Employees taking care of a child under elementary school age may use the reduced working hours for childcare system upon request.
*Starting time, finishing time, and prescribed working hours are elective, based on company regulations.
Child Nursing Vacation System
Employees taking care of a child under elementary school age may, upon request, take a vacation to take care of their own child.
*These vacations are treated as unpaid
*The number of days allowed per year will be determined in accordance with company regulations.
Nursing Care
Nursing Care Leave
Employees who care for a family member in need of nursing care are entitled to take nursing care leave upon request.
As a general rule, up to 93 days of leave can be obtained for each eligible family member in need of nursing care.
Reduced Working Hours for Nursing Care
Employees who care for a family member in need of nursing care may use the reduced working hours for nursing care system upon request.
This can be used for a maximum of 93 days per eligible family member.

Nursing Care Vacations
Employees who care for a family member in need of nursing care may, upon request, take a nursing care vacation to care for the family member.
*The number of days allowed per year will be determined in accordance with company regulations.

Assessment
Level System
Six levels (grades) have been established to reflect each employee’s skills, expected roles and responsibilities, and abilities.
Tech Award
Twice a year (in the first and second half of the year), the NHN Group presents awards to employees who have made outstanding technical achievements and contributions.
Assessment System
There are two assessment periods, in the first half (January to June) and second half (July to December) of the year, with five assessment ranks assigned based on the individual’s performance and level of contribution during the respective assessment periods.
Bonuses, annual salaries, and level revisions will be determined in accordance with company regulations on the basis of the assessment ranks assigned.
Other
Celebration and Condolence Payments
If an employee or their family members are involved in a celebration or a mourning event as designated by the company, they will receive a congratulatory or condolence payment accordingly.
